Your heating de-ice system is factory preassembled, prewired and designed to provide many years of trouble free service when installed properly.

The construction of the heating panels are graphite and carbon sintered into a glass fiber cloth that is bonded between layers of polyester film. It's design provides uniform heat even if punctured. Heating panels are secured to a closed cell foam insulation and vinyl cover. The system is attached to the antenna with hex washer head self drilling screws. The sensor operates the de-icer system between 17-39 degrees F when precipitation is present. A manual override toggle switch allows testing of the unit when snow and ice conditions do not exist.
