The Comtech EF Data (CEFD) MENCAP IP Encapsulator is a Multi-Protocol Encapsulator (MPE) device that encapsulates IP data into MPE format for distribution over DVB-S & DVB-S2 networks. It is configurable in real-time, software upgradeable, and can be managed via Web, console, Telnet and SNMP. Packaged in a desktop form factor, the unit is built on an embedded system platform capable of supporting up to 73 Mbps. The MENCAP IP Encapsulator can transport both Multicast and Unicast traffic and supports up to 10,000 simultaneous routes.

Registered customers are able to configure the item according to their own requirements.
